The show director and the Board of Directors of Wichita Shakespeare Company have decided to preemptively cancel this Sunday’s performance of “The Tempest” at Exploration Place, due to extreme heat forecasts.

We are chiefly concerned with the safety of our cast, crew, and audience members in these extremely dangerous temperatures. Stay cool out there, and we hope see you Friday, September 11th in Buffalo Park.

As always, we appreciate your patience and kindness as we navigate adverse outdoor conditions.

Audition notice for the Tempest!

Time:Saturday, July 11th 7:00 to 10:00 p.m.**

Sunday, July 12th 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Location: Fellowship Hall at Lorraine Ave Mennonite Church

655 South Loraine

Please read the following so you know what I’m looking for. Coming into the audition knowing this stuff is a big plus because it shows me you’re willing to do the work especially if I don’t know you. If you can’t access the links let me know.

If you have any questions or something in the cut doesn’t make sense feel free to message or email me (abri.geist atx gmail.com remove the x and use the symbol) and I’ll clarify or fix it if I’ve missed something. You don’t have to read the whole thing (although I encourage it if you can/want to) but just look through enough so you know what we’re using
